The following items may be discussed in the next monthly meeting to be held on 28-10-2014.

            43/10-14: Provision of basic facilities before introducing CBS at Ottapalam HO -reg

    It is known that Ottapalam HO is identified for introducing CBS. Before that the basic amenities like UPS with good working condition, uninterrupted broad band connection, proper net working and new Systems to Counters/Supervisor may be provided for effective function.

 44/10-14: Payment of compensation to staff attending NIOS parcel works-reg

             The staff utilized for booking NIOS parcels and the staff engaged for transporting the parcels from booking point to RMS may be paid sufficient compensation / suitable off early. A copy of the MOU signed in connection with the booking of parcels may be provided to the Union.

45/10-14: Payment of SB/ SPMs allowance at Trikkateri SO-reg

            The pending claims may be cleared early as the bills are pending at Divisional office for long.

        46/ 10-14: Preparation of fresh MDW In A&B SOs in the Computerised set up-reg

            Most of the MDW in A and B Class Offices are very old and implemented before computerization. Such MDW may be revised incorporating all new works through Systems by equally distributing among sanctioned staff strength.

              47/10-14: Linking of Pos to Nationalised Banks-reg           

 In many places nationalized Banks are available. Hence early action may be taken to attach more Pos with Banks so that financing of Pos can be effectively managed and to curtail cash conveyance expenses also.

         48/10-14: Supply of scanner to Anakkara SO-reg

          Immediate action may please be taken to supply one barcode scanner to Anakkara SO  for the smooth functioning of the PO. Now a day, much difficulties are experiencing in dealing with RLs/Speed Post/eMOs.

         49/10-14: Repairs to Counters at Mele Pattambi

The present counter of the SO is damaged due to rusting. Immediate action may be taken to repair/ replace the same.

50/10-14: Supply one UPS to Perimbadari SO-reg

The available UPS are not working. Since lack of back up works are held up. Immediate action to repair the UPS or to supply a new one may be taken.

The following will represent the union in the meeting. Special Casual Leave/ suitable comp.off may please be granted to them to attend the meeting.

Confederation News

CONFEDERATION ALL INDIA TRADE UNION WORKSHOP AT BANGALORE ON 5TH & 6TH JANUARY 2015

Two days All India Trade Union Workshop of Confederation of Central Government Employees & Workers will be held at Bangalore on 5^th & 6^th January 2015. COC Karnataka will host the workshop. Total number of delegates will be 200. Affiliated organization-wise delegate quota will be published shortly. Delegate Fee is fixed as Rs. 600 (Rupees Six hundred only) per delegate. Meeting of the COC held at Bangalore was attended by Confederation CHQ leaders Coms: S. K. Vyas, K. K. N. Kutty, M. Krishnan, M. S. Raja, Vrigu Bhattacharjee, Giriraj Singh, R. N. Parashar, P. Suresh, R. Seethalakshmi etc. Detailed circular will follow.

JCM STAFF SIDE NATIONAL CONVENTION ON 11TH DECEMBER 2014 AT NEW DELHI. WILL DECLARE JOINT PROGRAME OF ACTION ON CENTRAL GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES COMMON DEMANDS

JCM Staff Side leadership has decided to organize a National Convention of all Central Government Employees (Railway, Defence & Confederation) on 11^th December 2014 at New Delhi from 12 PM to 4 PM. Convention will adopt a joint resolution on the common demands of the Central Government Employees viz; Merger of DA, Interim Relief, Inlcusion of GDS under 7^th CPC, Scrap New Pension Scheme etc and will declare joint programs of action. Further details regarding number of delegates to be participated from each affiliated Organisation & State C-O-Cs of Confederation will be published shortly.
