PIII/ Gnl/ 2011 24-09-2011.

To

The Superintendent Of Post Offices,

Ottapalam Division,

Ottapalam- 679101.

Sub:- Accumulation of Bags in front of HO-reg

Sir,

This is to bring your kind notice that heavy bags containing old records collected from all parts of our Division are accumulated in front of the entrance door of Ottapalam HO Mails branch, which creates serious difficulties to staff to perform their official duties. There are more than 100 bags are kept in this passage blocking the free movement of staff creating hurdles in discharging duties. As this portion is the mail exchange point of HO with Exclusive MMS, the staff working in mails branch is experiencing difficulty to carry out their functions. Now, the exchanges are being taking place in the court yard of HO. The MTS, who assisting the Mail exchanges have to convey the bags from the Court yard to the mails branch, inside the office. The exchange of mails in the open space is a problem during rain also. The public, who usually attending Post Office for collecting letters are also facing difficulty on this account.

As we know, the bags contain old records meant for sale, is kept idle in the open space without any proper sheltering. As the space now kept is a corridor, we found that several bags are in wet condition because of the heavy rain and from the outlet pipe provided there.

In these circumstances, it is requested that immediate steps may please be taken to remove the accumulation from the passage, without delay.

A line in reply in the matter is solicited.

Yours faithfully,

(Abdul Rahiman T.P)
